The event was an all day training session covering several topics from adjusting images in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) to shooting for and retouching High Dynamic Range (HDR) images. I really benefitted alot from the techniques I picked up. Some of what was covered was kinda like old stuff for me, but at least a good 60% of the day had new stuff or things I really needed to watch a pro do, which is what happened. The pro was Ben Willmore (www.digitalmastery.com) and he did a great job of teaching alot of very valuable techniques.

Above is an image I shot while on vacation in Mexico in 2007. The original is on the left. I retouched it this morning to practice some of the techniques I learned yesterday. My retouched version is on the right.
