Recently I had the chance to design a personal business card for a local college student I met while exhibiting my business at the Messiah College Youth Worker’s Conference. She was looking for a card to use for herself in her current responsibilities. But since her responsibilities, which include employment at the school as well as other roles she fills, span several categories she felt it would be best to have a generic card for herself that she could use at any occasion. It was important for her to have a card that was “soft” enough to reflect her kind and warm personality, but professional enough to give to any corporate contacts she might meet. This is the design I came up with for her after a couple rounds of revisions. For a sneak peak at some of the early drafts and pictures of the final printed cards click the image above.
